The Lionman
The lionman appears in times of need for confused and weary travellers, presenting them with two incredibly useful items: quality directions to their path of destiny, and a pair of comfortable shoes for getting there (style: variable). Travellers swap stories at inns of suddenly realizing their destiny lay in dentistry, cattle herding, or the manufacturing of fine silver spoons in Norway. Seeing the lionman has historically been regarded as an omen of good fortune, and wearing his image on an article of clothing the next best thing.
